When, as a young boy growing up in the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts, both music and baseball were passionate personal pursuits of mine. The Slide-Trombone ultimately being my career choice over the Bat, Ball and Glove. It was either listening to the Boston Symphony at Tanglewood, or watching the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. Life was good.
As time went on, my musical journey enjoyed performing with many different ensembles, from orchestral to big bands, jazz combos, circus bands, rock bands, ethnic bands and during military service, with an Army Field Band.
I have recorded 3 albums: La Storia 2, Mandolin Christmas, and Kickin’ Back With Eddie Russo.
The sea having always held a special fascination and mysterious mystique about her, had me sign aboard many cruise ships as a performer over the years, sailing around the globe.
Now, in the fullness of years, music performance is still my life’s love and hopefully a humble legacy to my wonderful children and to the many people and audiences that I performed for throughout my career.
“After Silence, That Which Best Expresses The Inexpressible, Is Music.”
